Hello….

Well I took a few days away…been busy in the yard, working up a good sweat planting….even if the temperature is in the 70’s you can still really work up a good sweat in the sun…LOL  been doing well…eating around 1500 calories…I am changing pools….the one I used last month is 45$ a month…and in my opinion not a real gym….they did have 3 treadmills and 3 elliptical’s and a few other machines…nothing I could really use….so that was a steep price for the pool…I am changing to a private club, bigger pool, 6′ to 3′ and square not kidney shaped…I will get a key to come and go as I please, pool open till  midnight, so that will be nice in the hot summer…its only $150 a year…only $12.50 a month….no gym equipment but I never used the other one’s equipment once…nor did I shower there it was pretty dungy…..this new place is really well kept…..they offer a bunch of activities I doubt that I will ever participate in…bingo, pancake breakfast, etc…I just want to be left alone to do my thing in the pool…LOL   I will get a routine down at home with my free weights and exercise ball….so alls well in my world….

My brother has mega desert plants and he shared a bunch with us…it took 2 day to plant them all…I think they look really nice…finally some green plants in my yard….

strawberries Then there is the strawberries that got cleaned and froze to eat later in the summer….seems everything is winding up here and moving away…most of the specialty shops are closing for the summer months and the agriculture fields are changing to cantaloupes and watermelons.. lots of hay being planted…cotton will be next….its all so interesting and different from the West coast where were from….

Then we went to Mexico….it is less than 20 miles from our house, we park and walk across the border….its Algadones…nothing but a tourist trap….we went with my sister in law, she gets some of her medication there…we compared our prices to our pharmacies,  some were more, some were a lot less….just depends….I had a hard time with everyone begging for us to buy there stuff…and as you walk away the price just gets less and less…pretty sad….we didn’t eat anything, but did get a bottle of Kahlua and some pan tostada’s for my husband… that’s all we bought…here are a couple pictures…

Then for more excitement as I was writing this tonight, my sister in law calls and says the house next door is on fire, gotta go…we run out the kitchen door and sure enough the rental right next to us has major smoke billowing out the front door….apparently the woman needed salt and ran to the store and left a pan of grease on the stove….hummm  not sure what she was thinking….needless to say the house burnt down…we got the RV out of the driveway and I was busy putting water on the trees between us…in fact ours were hanging over almost touching there roof….so as the flames started shooting out the doors and windows it was blowing out, I was so worried that the trees were going to catch fire…the Sheriff tried to get me to leave the area, ya no I don’t think so…it took well over 10 minutes for the fire truck and fire department to show up…way to long for me….anyway no one was hurt, thank God for that…they have 3 little ones and they were at another families house….my heart goes out to them tonight…

With this…..I bid you all good night…..
